Police appealing for information in relation to robbery in Blenheim

Marlborough Police are seeking the public’s assistance in relation to a robbery that occurred on the corner of Lee Street and Munro Street, Blenheim yesterday evening.

At around 6.30pm a man in his 20s was assaulted by two people, a man and a woman, and several items of property were taken from him, including a cellphone, cash and alcohol.

The two offenders the left the scene, and were last seen walking into the Taylor River Reserve.

The male is described as being in his early 20s, of stocky build, wearing dark baggy pants, a black and red shirt and a baseball cap.

The female is also described as being in her 20s, of skinny build, wearing jeans, a blue top, jeans and her hair tied up in a bun.

Police believe this was an isolated incident and enquiries are continuing to locate the persons responsible.
