Queenstown Police are in attendance at a serious motor vehicle crash on SH6, the Frankton-Ladies Mile Highway.
Road diversions are in place due to the highway being blocked.
Traffic travelling from Arrowtown to Queenstown is being diverted off SH6 and into Howards Drive.
Motorists intending to travel from Queenstown to Arrowtown should use the Arthurs Point access of Gorge Road and Malaghans Road.
Police are likely to be at the scene for several hours while they investigate the cause of the crash.
