Police Serious Crash Investigators are still at the scene of a serious motor vehicle crash on Old Coach Road, Ferndale, Mataura which occurred at about 11.00pm last night the 17th February.
A vehicle carrying a man, a woman and a 6 year old child left the road and struck a power pole. The child suffered serious injuries in the crash and is in a critical condition in Dunedin Hospital.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
Further details will be released once the investigation has been completed.
