Police have launched a homicide inquiry after a man's body was located at a Church Road address at Ngararatunua north of Whangarei this evening.
Police were called to the address about 6.30pm. Cordons were placed at each end of the road and the Armed Offenders Squad was called. A man was taken into custody without incident and is currently helping Police with their inquiries.
