1 min read

After three days of deliberation, the jury have returned guilty verdicts for two men who were accused of the murder of Shalvin Prasad in January 2013.

Shivneel Shahil Kumar and Bryne Permal have been remanded in custody and will be sentenced for murder at a later date.

Detective Inspector Dave Lynch of Counties Manukau Police says the verdict is a great result for Mr Prasad’s family following a thorough investigation.

“We’ve had a great team of investigators working hard on this case and we’re pleased to be able to deliver this result for Shalvin’s family.”
