Waikato Police, searching for a woman they have safety concerns for, are seeking the public’s help in locating her and are appealing to her family to let us know where she is.

Senior Sergeant Juliet Burgess of the Waikato District Command Centre, said 41 year old Waikato woman, Finnesse Endonia KAIRAU, has not been seen since leaving the Waikato Hospital's Henry Rongomau Bennett Centre (H.B.C.) yesterday with her sister.

She had been admitted to H.B.C. on Monday.

“Police are concerned for Ms. KAIRAU’S safety after numerous attempts to contact her and her family by our staff and H.B.C. staff has been unsuccessful.”

“We believe family members of Finnesse have assisted in her leaving the centre without the centre’s permission”

“Our officers have searched a number of locations in and around Hamilton and made a number of inquiries at addresses Finnesse has links to.” said Ms. Burgess.

When last seen Finnesse was wearing a black polar fleece sweatshirt and blue jeans. She is described as a fair skinned Maori, of thin build and long black hair.

"If you see someone who matches Finesse’s description please contact Police by ringing 111. Alternatively, anyone with information on her or her sister’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Waikato District Command Centre on 07 858 6200."
