Police seek assistance to identify injured man.

At about 9.30 pm last night, a man was admitted to Tauranga Hospital by ambulance, after collapsing at a local business premise.

Detective Sergeant Darryl Brazier, of Tauranga Police said “He gave us the name ‘Dave’ but now is unable to speak to police due to his condition.  He had no identification with him and we would really like help from the public to identify this man.”

 

The man is described as:

- European

- Aged approx 44 years

- Medium to solid build

- Short dark hair

He was wearing;

- Grey coloured shorts with a brown belt

- Black coloured ‘Norsewear’ brand jacket

- Grey/black coloured short-sleeved collar tee shirt

 

“He is in a stable but serious condition and we are not treating the circumstances surrounding his condition as suspicious” say Mr Brazier.

The man was not known to the occupants of the business premise where he was found.
