Police seek offenders in Hamilton robbery

Police are looking for three people who robbed the Mobil service station on the corner of Clyde Street and Peachgrove Road in Hamilton overnight. 
 
The robbery took place at 2am, when the three people used weapons to smash the front window of the service station. They stole the till and cigarettes. 
 
Fortunately the sole shop attendant was able to hide in a back room and was not injured. 
 
A stolen Subaru Forrester used in the robbery was found a short time later in Melville. The empty till and cigarette trays were in the car. 
 
A second car linked to the robbery was also found abandoned near the high school in Ngaruawahia. 
 
Both cars have been seized by Police and are undergoing forensic testing.
