Police are seeking witnesses to a serious assault which occurred on Riverview Road, Panmure in the early hours of this morning [Saturday 27 August 2016].
A man was assaulted by a group of offenders shortly before emergency services were called at 1:40am.
The victim was treated for serious injuries but his condition has since improved and he is likely to be discharged from hospital today.
The incident is in the early stages of an investigation and Police are appealing to speak to any witnesses.
