Police have been called to the New Zealand Post Mail Centre on Laurence Stevens Dr near Auckland Airport after a suspicious package was identified by staff around 9am.
The building has been evacuated as a precaution and a cordon has been put in place around the property on Laurence Stevens Dr.
Emergency services are at the scene and the NZ Defence Force has been called in.
There is no further information at this stage.
