Emergency services are responding to a serious crash on State Highway 1, just south of Wellsford.
Police were called to the crash involving a caravan shortly after 1pm today.
A woman was seriously injured and is being airlifted to hospital.
Part of State Highway 1 is closed and motorists are being asked to avoid the area if possible.
Delays are expected as the road is expected to be closed for some time.
Motorists are being advised to use State Highway 16 as an alternative route.
