Canterbury Police can confirm the Goulds Road and Leeston Road intersection has reopened following a fatal crash this morning (23 February 2015).
The death has been referred to the Coroner who will determine cause of death. No details of the deceased or those involved will be released until the process to inform next of kin has been completed.
Police investigations into the incident are continuing.
Canterbury Police would like to thank the public for their patience while diversions were in place.
No further comment will be made tonight.
