Police have released the name of the man who died in a house fire at Ruakaka this morning.
He was Noel Hendry, aged 79 years, of Ruakaka.
The Fire Service was called to the fire about 4.30am.
After the fire was put out the body of the man was located later in the morning.
Fire Service investigators and Police CIB have been at the scene and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined
