Second arrest made for Irvine Street dairy robbery

Police have made a second arrest in connection to the aggravated robbery of the Irvine Street dairy, Hamilton on 27 November 2017 at around 12:45pm.

The owner of the dairy was assaulted in the robbery.

Today an 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged with party to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, demands with menace, assaults police and resisting arrest.

He will appear in Hamilton District Court on 23 December 2017.

Prior to this, Police have also arrested a 13-year-old male in relation to this robbery.

Police are continuing to make enquiries to establish the identity of two outstanding offenders involved in this incident.
