Serious bicycle crash in Timaru

Timaru Police are appealing for information following a serious bicycle crash over the weekend.

Shortly after midnight on Sunday 12 August, a 37-year-old woman riding a bicycle crashed on June Street.

She suffered serious head injuries and is being cared for in Timaru Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

The Police Serious Crash Unit is carrying out a scene examination.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is urged to contact Timaru Police on 03 684 6086.
