Counties Manukau Police are appealing for witnesses following a shooting in Highland Park in the early hours of this morning.
Detective Senior Sergeant Ross Ellwood says Police were called to the Palm Bar in Highland Park at around 2am after reports that a man had been shot.
A man was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries, he remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Detective Senior Sergeant Ellwood says it appears that a fight had broken out between rival gangs outside the bar. He said Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident and who may have captured it on camera.
