Part of State Highway 1, south of Wellsford, has been reopened following a serious crash earlier today.
The crash happened shortly after 1pm today.
A woman was seriously injured and airlifted to hospital.
The highway was closed for several hours after the crash, and motorists were asked to used State Highway 16 as an alternative route.
Police want to thank motorists for their patience and cooperation during this time.
The road is now open and traffic is flowing.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
