Three men are in custody after an incident outside a Palmerston North petrol station last night.
Two men were involved in a verbal argument outside Gull on Tremaine Ave around 9:30pm.
One of the men left, and then returned in a vehicle, and fired a BB gun towards the other man.
He suffered a wound to his arm and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police located the vehicle shortly afterwards, and arrested three men after subsequent inquiries at other addresses.
A 19-year-old, a 24-year-old, and a 28-year-old are due to appear in the Palmerston North District Court today on wounding and firearms charges.
