1 min read

Waitakere Police have charged a 14 year-old boy and a 15 year-old girl, following a stabbing in West Auckland late on Friday night.

The girl has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent to rob and will be the subject of a youth court hearing later today.

The victim is alleged to have been stabbed in the chest as he sat in a car with the girl, who he’d met on a social media dating app. The victim remains in hospital in a stable condition.

A 14 year-old boy has also been charged with being a party to causing grievous bodily harm with intent to rob. He is expected to appear in the Waitakere District Court (as a youth hearing) tomorrow.

The pair are also additionally charged with aggravated robbery, this was a separate incident that occurred in the early hours of Friday morning, at a petrol station in Massey.
