Update, serious crash Canterbury

The Geraldine-Fairlie Highway has reopened following this morning’s crash.

Emergency services were called to a three car crash near Geraldine just before 11am.

Three people have been taken to Timaru Hospital via ambulance. A helicopter was initially called, but stood down.

Two of the cars involved have been towed from the scene, one remains and will be collected later on.

Traffic is flowing as normal in the area.
