Whanganui police investigate aggravated robbery (includes photos)

Whanganui Police are investigating the aggravated robbery of the BP Connect on London Street, Whanganui at around 3.30am on Tuesday 13 December.
 
Four offenders entered the store, armed with knives, and took a number of packets of cigarettes.   
 
The offenders are described as follows:
 
1. Solid build; wearing a light grey cap with ‘NY’ in black, a light grey long-sleeved top and track pants, and black Nike sneakers with a white sole; had green and white material (possibly a t-shirt)l across his face and chest and grey socks on his hands.
 
2. A teenager of skinny build; wearing a black cap with a shiny silver/black/white sticker on the peak, a black long-sleeved hoody, black Canterbury track pants, dark Nike scuffs and white socks; had a black Nike bum-bag or shoulder-bag.
 
3. Solid build; wearing a grey long-sleeved hoody with ‘PHOENIX’ on the front in black (with other writing underneath), grey/brown long shorts (possibly camouflage colours), a white peaked cap, dark Nike scuff and white socks.
 
4. Wearing a black puffer jacket with a hood, a grey/white top underneath, black knee-length shorts, black gloves, black Nike sneakers with white soles, and black socks.
 
The robbery at the BP Connect follows the robbery of a liquor store in Purnell Street, Whanganui, at around 11pm on 10 December, which Police believe may have involved some of the same offenders.   Three offenders were involved in the Purnell Street robbery and took alcohol and cash as well as cigarettes.
