Police investigating the collision between a truck and a car on State Highway 2, Tauherenikau, shortly after midday on 29 January, are seeking further witnesses.
One person remains in Wellington Hospital in a critical condition following the crash.
A number of witnesses have already been interviewed, however Police are eager to speak with anyone else who may have seen what happened or who stopped to help.
