In this issue of Ten-One Community Edition we explore the findings and recommendations of the Independent Review of Police Communications Centres. We find out what police are doing overseas and read about the success of the 'Stepping Out' programme to teach children how to keep themselves safe on the roads.

We also look at an especially modified car being used to educate young people about the dangers of illegal car modifications; talk to the new NZ Police national chaplain; and see the NZ Police pipe bands performing at the recent New Zealand South Pacific National Pipe Band Championships in Invercargill.
