Welcome to the June
2005 Community Edition of Police Ten-One Magazine – designed
for you, our stakeholders, to learn more about what we do as an
organisation.
In this edition we look at three high-profile police operations which
achieved outstanding results, a new recruiting initiative in Counties/Manukau
District, and resources to help visitors to New Zealand keep safe – including
a handy brochure for the hundreds of overseas British and Irish Lions
rugby tour followers, and information about
police services now available in seven ethnic languages on the Police
website.
We also update you on the implementation of recommendations from the
Independent Review of Police Communications Centres – including
the appointment of Superintendent Steve Fitzgerald as Communications
Centre National Manager.
