Welcome to the November 2005 - Volume 1 Community Edition of Police Ten-One Magazine – designed for you, our stakeholders, to learn more about what we do as an organisation.

In this edition we look at how hard work by the Auckland Forensic Photography Section helped secure prosecution in an interesting case recently, and new computer software and equipment which is helping to reduce the length of road closures after motor vehicle crashes.

We also feature the newly-established Family Safety Teams – a joint project between NZ Police, Ministry of Justice, Child, Youth and Family, and community organisations – which are being piloted in Auckland, Hamilton, Wairarapa, Lower Hutt, and Christchurch.
