Missing Elderly Female Dementia Sufferer
Christchurch Police, accompanied by Search and Rescue staff, are currently searching for a 71 year old lady with dementia after she went missing from her Ottawa Road address, in the Christchurch suburb of Wainoni, at around 4.45 pm this afternoon.
The missing person is described as follows:
Female – Caucasian
71 years
Dark grey hair
Last seen wearing a grey long sleeved thermal vest and brownish trousers
Answers to the name “Diane”.
Police ask all residents in and around the Wainoni area to check their properties, and for any sightings to be reported to Christchurch Police on (03) 363 7400.
