State Highway 57, Levin to Palmerston North

Police wish to advise the motoring public of flooding on State Highway 57 between Levin and Palmerston North.
Flooding Sh 1/Kimberley Road – across both lanes
Areas most acutely affected include the roads to the east of Levin and the areas immediately south of Tokomaru township.
A slip has also occurred at Makerua Hill, hindering southbound traffic.
Driver caution is advised. If travelling in this region, expect extensive delays.
