Statistics New Zealand now provide the ability to query the New Zealand Police Statistics - allowing you to gather detailed crime information about your local area for the last 10 years. This service complements the official pre-formatted reports provided below.

The official New Zealand Police statistics are released on the first working day, three months after the close of the reporting period.
