Case 1: ASB Aggravated Robbery, Panmure



Glen Innes Police are investigating the aggravated robbery of the Panmure ASB. At about 2:30pm on Friday the 22nd of May two disguised males entered the bank.
 
One of the offenders approached the counter and presented a firearm at the teller, demanding cash. The offender then took an Oroton bag from a customer. A second offender then approached another customer and took his wallet. The offenders then left the bank and turned left onto Queens Road, where they got into a white Mazda station wagon – registration DUK954. The stolen vehicle was later found up a driveway on Lagoon Drive.
 
Offender One is described as:
  • Male Pacific Islander or Maori
  • Under 30 years
  • Tall
  • Medium to solid build
  • Wore black hoodie
  • Black trackpants with two white stripes down side of each leg
  • Wore light coloured sneakers
  • Baby blue bandana covering his face up to just below his eyes
  • Peak hat worn on top of hood
  • Black gloves on his hands
 
Offender Two is described as:
  • Male Pacific Islander or Maori
  • Under 30 years
  • Dressed all in black
  • Black hoodie with hood up
  • Black track pants or jeans
  • Wore light coloured sneakers
  • Cream or white coloured bandana covering face up to just below eye level

Case 3: Victoria Park Sexual Assault


Auckland Central Police are investigating to brutal sexual assault of a woman on Sunday the 28th of June in Victoria Park.
 
The offender is described as:
  • Male Caucasian
  • Late twenties to early thirties
  • Slim to medium build
  • Light brown or blonde hair
  • Light stubble on his chin
  • Scarring or pockmarks on his cheeks
The offender wore:
  • A dark zip up jacket – similar to a ‘puffa’
  • Dark checked shirt with a collar
 
The victim was walking on Victoria Street near the park between 2:30 and 2:45am when the offender grabbed her from behind and dragged her into bushes, where the assault took place.
 
After robbing the victim, Police believe this man hailed a taxi from Fanshawe Street and was dropped off at the Sunnynook Mall on the North Shore at 3:00am.
