Help sought in locating missing hospital patient

Porirua Police are seeking help in finding a hospital patient missing from the Tane Mahuta intensive rehabilitation unit in Porirua.

He is Mr Auton Low, aged 62 years, a slimly built caucasian with a tanned complexion. Mr Low is 5ft 10in tall, has long grey hair, a grey beard and normally wears a suit jacket and trousers. He also wears several ornate rings.

Constable Stephen McCormick, Porirua Police, says Mr Low has been missing from planned hospital leave since 2 November. He’s been seen from time to time in the upper Cuba Street area, most recently last Sunday afternoon.

Mr Low requires regular medication. He is not considered a risk to the public but hospital staff are anxious for his welfare.
