Waikato police are investigating the death of a 35-year-old Huntly man after he died in Waikato Hospital last night.
Police say the man was attending a party at a Harris St house in Huntly on Saturday night. He was taken to Waikato Hospital on Sunday as a result of injuries he received the previous night. At this stage, police are unsure how he received those injuries.
The man died in Waikato Hospital last night. Police were not called to the Harris St house over the weekend. They were first made aware of the man's death last night. His name will not be released until family members have been notified.
Police were today examining the house where the party was held and would be speaking to people who were there at the weekend.
