Wellington Police seek Manu Royal

1 min read

Police investigating the short lived escape of Arthur William Taylor in central Wellington yesterday afternoon would like to speak with Manu Aperhama Royal.

Detective Inspector Gary Knowles, head of Wellington CIB, says as a result of information gained in the last 24 hours investigators believe Royal, a 45-year-old male Maori, may be able to advance their inquiries.

The whereabouts of Royal, described as 187cm tall, of medium build, drawn facial features and greying hair, is currently unknown. He has lived in several places in the North Island, most recently in the greater Auckland area.

Anyone who has seen Royal, or knows where he is, is asked to urgently contact the Wellington CIB investigation team on 0800 TIPOFF.
