Overnight Taggers cause damage

Taggers have caused considerable damage over night in the Papanui area of Christchurch.

Senior Constable Kathy Anderton, Papanui Youth Aid Officer, says that between 9pm and 5qm this morning, two cars, fences and the side of a new house have been vandalised.

"Three streets are involved," she says. "Properties in Claremont Street, Tomes Road, Paparoa Street and a car at the corner of Tomes Rd and Rutland Street have been damaged."

Tagging includes whispar, ofk, and cept.
