Show week- traffic

1 min read

Canterbury Traffic Police will be enforcing speed as part of a national campaign during show week.

Inspector Derek Erasmus says that Christchurch Police and police in rural areas around the city will be concentrating on speed issues.

"Make sure you stick to the speed limit," he advises. "Those who are stopped for speeding will also be breath tested as there is a propensity to enjoy the delights of Cup week and the Show."

The Booze bus will also be working all week in Christchurch.
