Further plant-growing equipment found in Onehunga

1 min read

Police investigating the large cannabis growing set-up in Onehunga executed another search warrant at a property adjacent to 10 Selwyn St today and have found more equipment that could be used to set up a plant nursery.

The property - in Gloucester Park Rd - was searched under warrant this afternoon and follows on from the discovery of about 250 mature cannabis plants, hundreds of thousands of dollars of cannabis heads and a range of hydroponics and electrical equipment found in the Selwyn St property.

No further arrests have been made today but inquiries into the cannabis growing operation, described by Detective Sergeant Dave Nimmo of Mt Wellington CIB as "sophisticated", are ongoing.
