Police are seeking information about a fire in an unoccupied house in Division Street last night. Detective Geoff Rudduck says it is thought to have been arson.
The fire was reported at 6.45pm yesterday evening (Thursday 6 April) on the corner of Division Street and Blenheim Road; no one was living in the house at the time.
"Two youths were seen running away from the house before the fire," says Detective Rudduck. 'Youths had also been seen playing in the house on the previous evening. We are treating the fire as suspicious."
