Two youths appeared in the Youth Court this morning charged with kidnapping after an incident in Christchurch overnight.
The two youths stole wine from a 24 hour premises in Victoria Street about 10pm last night then allegedly kidnapped a taxi driver at knife point to drive them to several other outlets where they attempted to steal more alcohol. They were located at an address in Redwood.
The two youths appeared in the Christchurch Youth Court this morning charged with kidnapping and theft.
