Waimate woman missing

South Canterbury Police have concerns for a 48 year old Waimate woman who has been missing since last night.

Leanne Hannah Van Royen went missing from a farm on Jackson Bush Road about 9pm, yesterday- Monday night.

Constable Ryan O'Rouke of Timaru says that the weather overnight has been poor with rain, snow and low temperatures and they have concerns for her safety.

Leanne Van Royen is described as a Caucasian woman, 5'4" tall and of thin build. She has dark auburn, curly, shoulder length hair. She was last seen wearing a long green swandri.

Anyone with any information about Leanne Van Royen is asked to contact Waimate or their nearest police.
