Police concerns for man

1 min read

Christchurch Police are concerned about the welfare of Donald Cameron KERR. Mr KERR left Stonehurst Backpackers, Gloucester Street, on the morning of Tuesday, 31 March 2009. Since this day he has not been seen.

Mr KERR was visiting Christchurch from Hawera. There are concerns for his well being.

Mr KERR, who is 76 is described as a Caucasian with collar-length grey hair and a long grey beard. He wears glasses. Mr KERR was last seen wearing a cream-coloured jacket with a collar, blue trousers which are often tucked into light-coloured socks, dark shoes and a dark coloured baseball cap. He is in possession of an old blue square-shaped knap-sack with an external metal frame.

There is a possibility that Mr KERR may be travelling north from Christchurch.

Should anyone have information relating to Mr KERR could they contact the Christchurch Central Police Station CIB, Detective Sergeant LAMOND, extension 3637532.
