North Shore Police are appealing for information from the public after a 33-year-old man was found injured near the intersection of Park Road and Glenfield Road on Monday night.

A member of the public heard someone yell out before finding the man down a grass embankment with moderate injuries to his head, hands and knees, between 5.30pm and 6pm on Monday 17 October, 2016.

The man cannot remember how he sustained his injuries, but it is possible he had been skateboarding just before the crash. A white van was seen at the time of the incident and Police would like the driver to come forward to help with their inquiries.

Police are also asking any other witnesses who may have seen what happened to please contact Sergeant Caroline Anderson in the North Shore Road Policing Team on 09 488 6200. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
