We made it clear in a statement earlier this week that we were appreciative of the current police investigation and the opportunity to move forward and find out what happened to our sister.
Negative media coverage over the last few days has been extremely distressing to our family and has shown a complete disregard for the ill health of our mother. We appeal from our hearts to the media to treat our sister with some dignity and help focus on taking the investigation into her disappearance forwards and not backwards
