Arrests following Marlborough search warrants

Marlborough Police have arrested four people and disrupted a methamphetamine network after executing search warrants in Picton and Koromiko yesterday.

Police targeted three addresses, recovering methamphetamine, cannabis and stolen property, including electrical power tools.

Of the four people arrested and charged:

A 53-year-old Koromiko man faces 13 charges of supplying methamphetamine and five charges of conspiracy to deal methamphetamine;
A 56-year-old Koromiko woman faces 18 charges of supplying methamphetamine and two charges of conspiracy to deal methamphetamine;
A 37-year-old Picton man faces 10 charges of supplying methamphetamine;
A 26-year-old Picton man faces 13 charges of supplying methamphetamine.

They were expected to appear in the Blenheim District Court today.

Marlborough Police will continue to investigate and target drug dealers who peddle their misery into our community.

Police want to remind people that we rely on the public to help stamp out this offending, by supplying information to us to help form a picture of what’s happening in our communities.
