Media advisory: New non-emergency number announcement

More than 60 years ago we went live with the iconic emergency number - 111. 
 
On Friday 10 May, we’ll be announcing another number – this time focused on non-emergencies – which we're sure will become just as iconic.
 
It's an exciting time, and we’d love you to join us when we reveal New Zealand’s new nationwide non-emergency number.
 
Where:               Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, Oceania Room, Cable Street, Wellington
When:                Friday 10 May 2019 at 9.45am for 10am start 
Who:                  Commissioner Mike Bush, Assistant Commissioner Jevon McSkimming and Minister of Police Stuart Nash.
