At about 5.30pm tonight a Search and Rescue Team with tracking dogs has located missing Romahapa man Ian Fullerton MATHIESON.
He was located deceased in a farm paddock near Monaghan Road in Balclutha.
Police and Land Search and Rescue Teams from all over Otago have been searching for Mr MATHIESON since his disappearance last Wednesday night.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and the matter has been referred to the Coroner.
Mr MATHIESON’s family have been advised and our thoughts are with them tonight.
