Police are asking any members of the public who may have witnessed a fatal crash in Otahuhu on Monday 31 October 2016 to come forward.
At around 7pm on Monday, a white Toyota Corolla sedan has been driving towards Otahuhu on Mangere Road when it has crashed into the back of a Toyota Yaris hatchback.
The driver of the Toyota Yaris died at the scene. He was Desmond Wigg, aged 63 from Pukekohe.
Police would like to speak with anyone who was present at the time of the crash and particularly those who assisted at the scene.
The Toyota Corolla was seen driving along Massey Road prior to the crash and we interested in any sightings of this vehicle.
