Name release - Tauranga boating incident

Police can now name the man found deceased in the Tauranga Harbour entrance on Saturday 5 October.

He was Clayton Patrick Nathan-Graves, 29, from Pyes Pa. He was also known as Clayton Patrick Graves.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of Mr Nathan-Graves’ death, alongside Maritime NZ.

A number of people have contacted us following an appeal for witnesses and we’re grateful for their assistance.

We would still like to hear from anyone operating a boat, fishing, or walking in the area between midnight Friday 4 October and 8am Saturday 5 October, who has not yet been in touch with us.
