The man whose vehicle was found crashed into a tree at the intersection of Buckland and Tuakau roads yesterday has since died. He was 75 years old (not in his 80s as previously stated).
The Counties Manukau Police Serious Crash Unit is still looking for any information on the vehicle's journey prior to the crash. Anyone who saw the black Isuzu Bighorn registration WE2879 before midday yesterday is asked to contact Constable Amy Weston on 09 261 1302 or to provide information anonymously contact the organisation Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
