Timaru Police appeal for information after aggravated robbery

Police are appealing for information after an aggravated robbery in Timaru last week.

Around 5pm on Thursday 11 April Timaru Police were called to an address on Kiwi Drive after the occupant was assaulted and robbed.

A 60-year-old man received cuts and bruising. He was treated in hospital and has since been discharged.

The offenders are believed to be two females and a male.

A local 42-year-old female has been arrested for aggravated robbery and has been remanded in custody.

Police are following strong lines of enquiry to identify the other two offenders.

Police are seeking information in relation to any suspicious behaviour on 11 April between 1 and 5pm on Kiwi Drive, in particular in close proximity to Westend Park. We also ask that anyone that may have CCTV footage in the area at that time to contact Police.
