Auckland City Police can now confirm that the young man found unconscious in Remuera last night has been identified.
Detective Senior Sergent Andrew Saunders said the family of the 17-year-old man are now with him in hospital and the investigation continues.
Police would like to speak to anyone who was in the vicinity of Peach Parade, Remuera between the hours of 5pm and 9pm last night who may be able to assist in this investigation.
