Constable Jordan Upton

You may have seen this on our Auckland Police instagram, but it's a cracker example of going above and beyond the call of duty so we thought we'd share it here too.

Through his work with Kaipara College, Helensville Pubic Safety Constable Jordan Upton was called upon to help out with a troublesome student. He discovered the student was having some issues at home and that his whānau was struggling to put food on the table.

“I got in touch with the crew at our local food bank, Kai Collective, to see if they could arrange a food parcel," says Constable Upton. "They loaded me up with about a weeks’ worth of groceries, including locally-grown donated produce."

It’s fair to say the family was incredibly grateful. Ka pai Constable Upton!
